Milan-born rap phenomenon Rondodasosa — considered one of the more disruptive and visionary voices in Italy’s urban music scene — is stepping boldly onto the international stage with the release of his new single, “LIVIN,” featuring Caribbean hitmaker Byron Messia.

“’LIVIN’ is more than just a record — it’s a cultural exchange,” Jamaican entertainment publicist Ronnie Tomlinson, CEO of the New York-based Destine Media, told Caribbean Life.

“Combining Rondo’s hard-hitting Italian flow with Byron Messia’s melodic Caribbean cadence, the song blends raw drill energy with island heat,” added Tomlinson, a Brooklyn resident. “The chemistry is electric, and the result is a bold, boundary-crossing anthem anchored by a magnetic hook and sharp lyrical interplay.”

She said Byron Messia, known worldwide for his viral smash “Talibans” and collaborations like “Choppa” with Lil Baby, brings his “unmistakable sound and global fanbase to the track, elevating ‘LIVIN’ into a true cross-continental moment.”

The accompanying video — shot in the US Virgin Islands — “captures both artists in their element, delivering island visuals with a raw, cinematic edge far from the typical summer single,” Tomlinson said.

“LIVIN” builds on a wave of global recognition for Rondo, whose resume includes collaborations with Central Cee, Russ Millions, and Gazo; a standout appearance on On The Radar; and performances at Rolling Loud Europe.

“The single continues his steady evolution from Italian chart-topper to international force,” Tomlinson said.

Born in Milan’s San Siro district in 2002, Tomlinson said Rondodasosa quickly rose to prominence with his crew RM4E/Seven 7oo, earning a reputation for emotionally charged storytelling, street-driven realism, and UK drill-inspired flows.

Tomlinson said he currently holds eight platinum and nine gold certifications, with past releases like Trenches Baby (certified gold and #1 in Italy) and Giovane Rondo EP (the first digital EP in Italy to go Gold) cementing his status at home.

“With ‘LIVIN,’ Rondo opens a new chapter — one that expands his sound and his story to a global stage,” she said.
