After more than two decades of building an international career that has taken his music across genres, cultures and continents, recording artist Honorebel returns to the sound at the heart of his musical journey with his highly anticipated 14th studio album, “Winner Circle.”
Released by Phantom Music Group and distributed globally by Zojak Worldwide, the 13-track project represents “a defining chapter for the versatile artist,” according to Caribbean entertainment publicist Flair Lindsey.
Lindsey, of Acclaim PR, told Caribbean Life on Monday, Sept. 21, that while Honorebel’s expansive catalog has moved seamlessly through Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Pop, EDM and Latin music, “Winner Circle” brings him “firmly back to his Reggae foundation with a collection rooted in uplifting messages, timeless rhythms and authentic Jamaican music.”
“Reggae is where my journey began, and it has always been a part of who I am,” Honorebel. “With ‘Winner Circle,’ I wanted to come back to that foundation and make music that reflects where I am today—the experiences, the lessons, the blessings and everything it took to get here.”
Throughout his career, Lindsey said Honorebel has carved out a “distinctive lane as one of Reggae’s most versatile independent recording artists, collaborating with an impressive roster of international stars including Pitbull, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Tory Lanez, Shaggy, Wayne Wonder and Tarrus Riley, among many others.
“His genre-spanning approach has helped carry his music to audiences throughout North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Latin America,” she said. “Yet, ‘Winner Circle’ is more than a return to Reggae.
“The album reflects the evolution of an artist whose career has been built on persistence, reinvention and an unwavering belief in the power of music,” Lindsey added. “Across its 13 songs, Honorebel explores love, faith, family, resilience, social awareness and triumph, creating a body of work that celebrates both the victories and the journey required to achieve them.”
Honorebel said success is “a journey, not a destination.
“The winner’s circle isn’t only about reaching the top. It’s about having the courage to keep moving forward, learning from every chapter and recognizing the people and experiences that helped shape you along the way,” he said.
Lindsey said that adding to the album’s depth is a standout lineup of Reggae talent.
She said “Winner Circle” features collaborations with Big Mountain, Glenn Washington, Etana and Nyanda, “bringing together distinctive voices from across the Reggae landscape while reinforcing the project’s strong connection to the genre.”
Lindsey said that among the album’s highlights are “Forever Yours,” “Miss You,” “Mama,” “Rise Up,” “Real Estate Ova License Plate,” “Winner” and “Reggae Is Our Music.”
“Together, the tracks showcase the range of ‘Winner Circle,’ moving from heartfelt reflections on love and family to messages of perseverance, empowerment and cultural pride,” she said.
Lindsey said the project also brings together an accomplished production team that includes Jason Arthur Farmer, Willie Lindo, Mark Hosang, Tad Dawkins, Tad Dawkins Jr., Paul Kastick, Kashief Lindo, Dwayne Dayal, Kemar McGregor, Everton Dennis and Richard Mark Bailey.
“Their collective contributions give ‘Winner Circle’ a rich musical foundation while allowing Honorebel’s songwriting, melodies and unmistakable energy to remain at the forefront,” she said.
